Students like that I post the lecture slides - but they think the lecture slides are too cluttered. Students like the focus on real-world applications - this is the reason I chose to use the Stevenson & Wolfers textbook for principlesĥ. Students like the interactive nature of using iClicker quiz questions during lecturesĤ. Those with the highest scores were more detailed in their response to Q1.ģ. I need to give more time to discuss this in class and not just trust that they read the syllabusĢ. Here are things that I learned from the student feedbackġ. Q4: What is one aspect of the course that you would change? Q3: What is one aspect of the course that is helping you learn that I should continue to do? Q2: What can you do different for the next exam? Q1: What did you do to "study" for the exam? After the first exam, I give students an opportunity to reflect on their approach to studying and to provide me feedback.
